This is the fist picture presented to the viewer on the dealer web site. It needs to create an emotional response; “Oh, that is a beautiful car!”
Cars are shiny and usually there is very little control about when you need to shoot the car. There are some important principles though. First is background. You need to put the car on a setting where the car is the star. Find a place where the background is uncluttered, you have enough room to position the vehicle and shoot all sides. In order to have a good background you may have to move the car into the right positions rather than walk around the car.
